Family memberships at Central Illinois attractions are worth the money. Besides visiting the attraction many times over, the reciprocal program is a great benefit. Fall colors are magnificent!  We wish the leaves changed colors more slowly, so the season would be longer.  We are enjoying every minute of it!  Below is a list of places where we thoroughly enjoy this season.

Funky Fungi: The Nature Center has a Fungi of Forest Park Display, and we saw several of the mushrooms during our hike. On our hike, there were several awesome giant puffball mushrooms. The kids excitedly noted they were probably bigger than their heads.
