Peoria Parents, a middle school team from Lindbergh Middle School is asking you for help raise funds. The school's 6th grade Destination Imagination Team won 2nd place in the Illinois Tournament. They have qualified to go to Global Final Tournament next month in Knoxville, TN. It costs over $600 for each child to attend this 5-day event, that's not including transportation.
The Peoria Academy of Science is proud to sponsor the 24th Annual Science Treasure Hunt. The Treasure Hunt is a combination family adventure and scavenger hunt focusing on science and technology facilities and resources in the Peoria area. All entrants must be students between 1st and 8th grade on April 20, 2013 and reside in Central Illinois. The hunt starts April 20 and ends on September 4.
