The Peoria Academy of Science is proud to sponsor the 24th Annual Science Treasure Hunt. The Treasure Hunt is a combination family adventure and scavenger hunt focusing on science and technology facilities and resources in the Peoria area. All entrants must be students between 1st and 8th grade on April 20, 2013 and reside in Central Illinois. The hunt starts April 20 and ends on September 4.
If your kids are too young to officially enter, the places to visit for the Peoria Academy of Science Treasure Hunt are fun, regardless of age. There are the traditional Peoria attractions listed, but there are several that I never knew were available for visits. All the sites are great learning opportunities. Below are their suggested treasure hunt sites:
