Peoria Area Safe Kids

As a local coalition of SAFE KIDS Worldwide, Peoria Area Safe Kids works in a variety of injury prevention topics including:

-Child Passenger Safety
-Pedestrian Safety
-Fire Safety
-Water Safety

Led by Children's Hospital of Illinois and American Red Cross, the local coalition focuses their efforts in Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties. Several community organizations are active members of Peoria Area Safe Kids and use their expertise to promote safety.

Peoria Area Safe Kids hosts monthly community car seat checks in Peoria and Pekin and provides child passenger safety education and public awareness.
