Frolic with the Fairies " Aside the Babbling Brook"

What is Frolic with the Fairies?
A feast fit for a fairy will be provided and include items such as fairy dust cookies, fruit kabob caterpillars, chocolate covered bugs, fairy wands and snow queen punch.

Sandra McCone author of the "Three Little Lasses" series will be on site as the storyteller.

There will be a fairy fashion show, fairy storytelling, sing alongs, fairy photos, raffles (including a doll house), and door prizes!!!

When: March 12, 2010
Times: 9:00am, 12:30pm & 4:00pm (3 seatings)
Where: Mt Hawley Country Club
Ticket price: $30 per seat, $25 if you purchase 4 or more seats

FOLEPI's Winter Wonderland

Festival of Lights-East Peoria, Illinois (FOLEPI) Kids will enjoy the Winter Wonderland, which runs until Jan 1. The almost 2-mile drive-through electric park is the Festival of Lights' signature event! Folepi's Winter Wonderland features the majority of the Parade of Lights floats and many other lighted displays.

Drive under arches while lighted reindeer leap over your car, and later through a tunnel of blue arches. And see many favorite displays, including a lighted waving Folepi.

Christmas at Wildlife - Polar Express Experience

The Polar Express Experience takes place Dec. 10, 2010 - Dec. 12, 2010, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm; Sunday 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. Come experience Chris Van Allsburg's Classic Christmas story The Polar Express as a participant instead of just a listener! Before the train whistle blows, there will be hands-on, old-fashioned crafts and activities including an animal enrichment program as Lily and Ivy, our educational skunks, open up some Christmas presents early for being so good!
