The Peoria Academy of Science, is proud to sponsor the 22nd Annual Science
Treasure Hunt. The Treasure Hunt is a combination family adventure and scavenger hunt focusing on science and technology facilities and resources in the Peoria
area. All entrants must be students between 1st and 8th grade on April 23, 2011 and
reside in Central Illinois. The hunt has started and ends on September 7.
Although my kids are too young to officially enter, I like the ideas of places to visit for the Peoria Academy of Science Treasure Hunt, regardless of age. There are the traditional Peoria attractions listed, but there are several that I never knew were available for visits. All the sites are great learning opportunities. Below are their suggested treasure hunt sites:
