Laughin’ & Learnin’ at Jump Start is an hourly drop off play and learn activity program for children ages 3-6 years old (must be potty trained). This program is designed to help out parents who are in need of an occasional, regular, or part time childcare while they go to appointments, take a class, go to the gym, run errands, etc. It is also just a fun program for kids to socialize and learn with other children their age.
There is no long term time or financial commitment required.
Children can come as little as one hour per visit, or up to three hours. This is a drop in program, but calling ahead is recommended to ensure availability, as space is limited. Student/Teacher ratio is 1:7.
Hours:
Monday thru Thursday- 9am to Noon
Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays- 1pm to 4pm
Rates: $8.00 per Hour, Cash or Check Only
Punch cards are available for a reduced fee. Credit cards are accepted for punch cards.

Daily Activities
During their time in our program children will be encouraged to participate in group activities such as arts and crafts, storytime, structured physical activities and dramatic play. Through participation in our program, children will develop and enhance motor, cognitive and social skills, while having fun and making friends.
Each week will have different themed activities. Daily activities could include:

THE TEACHER
The program will be run by Marissa Manley. Ms Marissa grew up on the West coast. After coming to Central Illinois, she attended Illinois Central College and received her degree in Early Education. She has been working with young children in the Peoria area for over 15 years.
Children should be between ages 3 to 6 and must be potty trained. Parents will be required to fill out a child/parent information form on their first visit.
