Here are some great places that I’ve taken my kids to meet friends for coffee:
Copper River Coffee and Tea, near the War Memorial and Glen/Sterling intersection, has a basket of coloring supplies and paper to keep the kiddos occupied while you chit chat with friends. Also, they make great recommendations for coffees and teas, when the little one is squirming around in your arms.
Not Your Average Joe in Dunlap has an absolutely great kiddie book and game corner! Kids can grab a book or game, and sit next to mommy while she catches up with friends.
Borders and Barnes and Noble are also great places to grab coffee with friends, while kids participate in storytime or browse books. Borders has a Tuesday storytime, and Barnes and Noble has a Monday storytime.
Also, any McDonald's with a play area is a good place to meet friends for coffee with the kids, but your coffee choice is extremely limited.
