Below is a list of FREE (or almost FREE) stuff to do with the kids during the summer. Also, the PeoriaParent.com calendar is continually updated with family fun events, so check back often. Enjoy the summer with your kiddos!

Peoria Zoo: FREE Admission Days on June 2 & June 15. Donations appreciated.

Lakeview Museum: FREE Admission Days on June 7 & June 21. Check out the new Moneyville exhibit. Donations appreciated.

Fondulac Farm Park: FREE Admission on Tuesdays. Donations appreciated.

Willow Knolls 14 Theatre: $1 Kids Movies Monday-Friday 10am starting June 13

Family Flick at Glen Oak Park: Mondays beginning at dusk starting June 13. Fifty cents for a family-friendly movie.

Metro Centre: FREE Movies Under the Stars on June 3, July 8, August 12, September 16

Your Local Park: Go for a nature walk at Forest Park, ride bikes at Bicycle Safety Town, or go crazy at any of the park playgrounds.

Storytimes: Peoria Public Library, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Forest Park Nature Center, Peoria Humane Society, and other area public libraries offer great storytime programs. They’re great for encouraging book lovers!
