Communication Junction offers a variety of private and group classes created to improve communication with children and families. They believe sign language promotes early communication, reduces frustration and tantrums, improves reading skills, and may even increase IQ.
Each Sign and Play class is designed for children ages 0-36 months and their parents, grandparents or caregivers. All classes include movement, play, songs, and early literacy activities. Each level consists of 8 weekly classes 45 minutes in length. Classes begin the week of September 7.
Level 1: It's Baby Signing Time & Here I Go
Level 1 is designed for beginning signers age 0-36 months and their caregivers. Each class focuses on vocabulary relevant to your child such as: mealtimes, diapering, playtime, transportation, and manners for $129
Level 2: A New Day & Let's Be Friends
Level 2 is designed for those who have completed Level 1. Each class focuses on vocabulary relevant to your child such as: outside, day/night, directions, friends, and opposites for $129.
Level 3: Signing As You Grow
Level 3 is designed for those who have completed Levels 1 &2. Each classes focuses on vocabulary relevant to your child such as: colors, animals, questions, food, household items and more for $109.
Each level includes eight weekly classes, two music CD's (Level 1&2 only), keepsake personal photo journal and Parent Resource Books designed for children and their caregivers. Each CD contains 24 tracks designed to reinforce learning while having fun. The keepsake personal photo journal is a place for you to capture weekly vocabulary. The Parent Resource Book includes signing tips, weekly sign overview with written description, lyrics for each song on the CDs, recommended websites and books for visual support and suggestions for at-home practice.
