Our autumn experience always includes picking our own pumpkins from the field. We've picked our pumpkins at Christ Orchard the last three years. There's plenty to do at these farms & orchards besides pumpkin picking. Below is a list of the local farms & orchards and their offerings. Visit one, or visit all of them for family fun!
Christ Orchard in Elmwood: U-Pick pumpkins, apples, cider, farm animals, edible & decorative squash. Christ Orchard is quainter than the others.
Tanners Orchard in Speer: U-Pick pumpkins, bakery (with apple cider donuts & more), apples, cider, farm animals, corn maze, & Back 40 Fun Acres
Ackerman Farms in Morton: pumpkins, squash, corn maze, farm animals, gift shop
Rader Family Farm in Normal: U-Pick pumpkins, corn maze, a school house, the Little Village, Mountain Slide, the Tower, & more fun activities.
Linden Hill Farms in West Peoria is having a Harvest Kick-Off Festival Oct 5-6. On Oct 14, they're celebrating Children's Day!
