The Fall Semester of Kindermusik® at Trinity starts the week of September 2. Kindermusik® is the world’s leading music and movement program for children from birth to 7 years old. Research has shown that early music and movement activities positively impact whole child development in areas such as cognitive, emotional, physical, spatial and literacy skills.
Playgroups in Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties are listed below. These groups provide positive social interaction for you and your little ones with other families. Determine the group that best fits your needs because each group is different. Some clubs have 15 members while others have over 120 members. Some club’s calendars have events every day of the week, while others meet twice a month. Figure out what best fits you and your kids, or join several clubs if you’re a social butterfly.

Libraries kick off their summer reading programs for kids ages 3 and up in June. It’s a great way to raise confident readers. Sign up at your local library, log in your weekly reading hours, and your child may receive a prize after the program is complete.

June 11th: Zoom to another planet by painting a goofy alien. It’ll be out of this world!
June 25th: I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! Enjoy your ice cream this summer from your own waffle cone cup.
July 9th: Be part of our winter wonderland under the sun! We’ll be painting snowmen to cool ourselves from the July heat.
Once a month Fired Up has a story time event. Check out the calendar for specific dates and times!
During story time a staff member will read the story and each child will paint a dinner plate with an outlined scene from the book.
