There are tons of festivals and fairs to celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of autumn. Our family's favorites are the Pekin Marigold Festival and the Morton Pumpkin Festival. The Peoria Regional Chapter of the Autism Society of America is continuing its mission of providing Autism Awareness in the Tri-County Area. The goal is to raise public awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders and help families as well as professionals with meeting the needs of ASD children and adults.
Everyone is invited to participate in the 3rd Annual walk/run including children. Strollers or wagons are welcome! No pets please.
By participating in the Autism Walk/Run, you will help fund family support activities, mini-grants to classrooms, and provide scholarships to families who can not pay for needed services.

Apple Blossom Farm has opened for the summer/ fall season on Route 91 past Grand Prairie Mall. Pick fresh apples and pumpkins, get lost in the corn maze, feed the farm animals, play at the barnyard playground, and much more!
