Summer is here and its a good time to be thinking about protecting your skin. Daniel M. Siegel, MD, FAAD, the President of American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) has published a nice article that include several good tidbits for keeping your skin better protected.
Get ready to join one of Peoria’s coolest events – the Superhero 5K and Kids’ Villain Chase, benefiting the United Way set to take place on s on October 11, 2014. Families are intied to “run, walk or fly” along the beautiful Peoria Riverfront in their best superhero costumes! Everyone is invited to participate in the 5K and for those 10 years old and younger, help catch the bad guy by running in the Villain Chase – a half mile trek to capture the villain!

The Junior League of Peoria is hosting three social meetings to introduce and showcase the Junior League of Peoria to potential new members. The Junior League of Peoria pursues new members to continue this tradition of community involvement. Women of all races, creeds, religions, and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to volunteerism are encouraged to attend a social meeting to learn more about the Junior League of Peoria.
