Peoria Area Playgroups And Mom's Clubs

Although there are plenty of ideas on the PeoriaParent.com calendar and blog, joining a playgroup is great way to socialize for both parents and kids, especially during winter. It is unbelievable how many playgroups there are to choose from now, compared to when my oldest was a baby. I’ve made great friends to share motherhood stories and stresses, and enjoy watching my kids blossom with new friends. Usually from a playgroup list this long, it’s ok to try out 2-4 play groups, and then find where you click with chemistry.

I’m sure that most people have health-related New Year’s resolutions.  If you’ve fallen off the wagon, just pick yourself back up.  It’s ok to stumble, as long as you’re going forward.  Here’s some visual motivation to be healthy:  Being a parent who will play tag, play chase, give piggy back rides, climb monkey bars, ride bikes, and more.  Kids learn from example, and you’re their main example on what a healthy lifestyle is.
