Kids Trick-or- Treat at Bel-Wood Nursing Home: The residents welcome families to their home this Halloween for a fun, safe, and unique trick-or-treating experience. On Wednesday, October 31, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Bel-Wood residents will continue their tradition of passing out candy to children who come to collect treats in one convenient location.

Keep Pets Safe this Halloween: Halloween can be especially ghoulish for dogs and cats; therefore, Peoria County Animal Protection Services (PCAPS) recommends leaving pets at home when trick-or-treating. Even at home, it's best to restrict pets to another room...

There was an excellent tip from Peoria City/County Health Department to check your emergency stockpiles when daylight savings changes occurs- twice a year. The next daylight savings change is Nov 4. Is your emergency preparedness stockpile up to date?
